So. I did way too many reaserches about this, and ended up on a nasa article about why iceberg melting make the water level go up, but not ice cubes melting in your glass of water and it was all very complicated.
But.
I think i found another article (that this time i understood) about the fact that when something heavier than water (like a stone) is submerged in the water, it displaces less water, than when it is on something bigger floating on the water (like a boat ig). So I think that means the water level would fall? Since it was on the boat and is now thrown into the water.

The Answer:
The water level would fall, rather than rise or remain the same. Floating, the lump of steel displaces water equal to its weight; immersed, it displaces water equal only to its volume, and if it is heavy enough to sink, it is denser than water, and therefore its
volume of water is less than its weight of water. It simply takes up less space, allowing the water level to sink.
